Online safety
At our school, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils is our highest priority — both offline and online. As technology plays an increasingly important role in children’s lives, we are committed to teaching them how to use it safely, responsibly, and confidently. As such, online or internet safety is taught throughout our computing curriculum and across our curriculum in others subjects.
Our online safety teaching enables children to:
-
Stay safe when using the internet and digital devices
-
Protect their personal information
-
Communicate respectfully with others online
-
Recognise and respond to online risks
-
Know who to talk to if something worries or upsets them
If you have any concerns about your child's use of technology and/or digital resources, please contact your child's class teacher or the pastoral team at the school.
